Acquisition of Terra Scientific's assets

Hill Labs has been committed to the contaminated land and asbestos sectors for many years. As part of our ongoing growth, we are excited to announce that as of the 3rd May 2024, we will acquire some of the assets of Terra Scientific Ltd (TSL), including their asbestos business and ICP-MS instrument. This acquisition will allow us to grow our existing asbestos business, and the addition of an extra ICP-MS will create additional capacity for us in the metals testing space.

Ag Plant Test Changes Coming

Coal Tar Contamination Guidelines

Graham Corban, Key Account Manager - Environmental, is a member of the WasteMINZ Coal Tar in Roading working group that prepared the recently released Guidelines for Assessing and Managing Coal Tar Contamination in Roading. WasteMINZ released the guidelines in late 2023.

Dr Ian Graves Moves On

After an impressive nineteen years, our Air Quality Section Manager, Dr Ian Graves, left Hill Labs in January this year. Ian is taking a very well-deserved break to spend time with family, his surfboard and his fishing rod, before deciding his next steps. We wish him all the best and thank him for his many years of commitment to Hill Labs. He will be missed!
