Manuka Orchard Open Day

Hill Labs was invited by the team at Manuka Orchard to attend their annual open day in Paengaroa at the end of last month. 

The event brought together hundreds of delegates from across the North Island and provided a valuable opportunity to discuss topics such as bee health, pollination, honey production, and industry change. It was a great opportunity for discussion, collaboration and relationship building. 

Hill Labs relationship with Manuka Orchard goes back to 2019. As independent service providers to the apiculture industry, both organisations share a commitment to helping producers deliver high-quality products to market. We provide analytical testing and auditing services, while Manuka Orchard are masters in the art of honey storage, blending, packing and processing for various clients across the North Island. Learning from one another, Hill Labs and Manuka Orchard have been able to grow a wonderful partnership over the years, that supports the evolving needs of the industry. The Open Day also provided an opportunity to hear about Manuka Orchard's new initiative - entitled ‘Project 2030’ - where they are forward planning honey production with capacity, communication and automation, and creating a path of growth that the apiculture industry needs.
