Preparing for a Seamless Harvest/Export

As the harvest for export season kicks off for a variety of crops in New Zealand, Hill Labs is poised and ready, having spent the past few weeks preparing our sample reception, laboratory operations, and commercial processes to ensure a seamless experience for all our clients. Our commitment to maintaining high standards in Pesticide Residues testing for the horticulture and food processing industries remains firm, as we continue to support and partner with various sectors.

We are thrilled to announce our recent success in securing the contract to support the National Random Residue Programme for New Zealand Apples and Pears. We are grateful for this opportunity, which reflects the trust placed in us and reinforces our commitment to providing reliable, responsive, and high‑quality service across the industry. This achievement enables us to expand our services to include major crops such as kiwifruit, apples & pears, onions, avocados, potatoes, blueberries, and fruits and vegetables. Our dedication to these sectors remains strong as we continually assess and enhance our test offerings to meet the evolving needs of our clients.

Hill Labs is proud of our agility in adapting to seasonal fluctuations and our ongoing collaboration on trial work with the horticulture industry. These efforts demonstrate our commitment to continuous improvement and industry leadership. Beyond residues testing, we offer a comprehensive range of root-to-crop services, including GAP water testing for NZGAP/GlobalGAP compliance, soil and leaf nutrient testing, and heavy metal testing, ensuring we address the diverse requirements of the industry.

We invite growers with unique needs to reach out to us. At Hill Labs, we are dedicated to providing tailored solutions to help you achieve success in your harvest/export endeavors. Contact us today to learn more about how we can support your specific requirements this season.
